Woodturning Instruction
Woodturning Instruction
Pat teaches at woodworking and woodturning clubs at the local, regional, and national levels. She also offers private instruction in her studio and has a special affinity for beginners.
“I like to get beginners started on the right foot. I think the spirit in which you turn is important. Getting a little help when you’re just starting allows you to turn peacefully and confidently, instead of worrying about what will happen when the tool hits the wood.”
Pat has taught hundreds of people to turn, and her students are happy to share their experiences.
“Before I took your class, I’d try to turn something, get frustrated, and quit. After your class, I was able to finish something and have a good time doing it. Your philosophy of turning regularly, even if it is something small, has really helped me to keep turning and improving.”

The smile says it all.
There’s nothing quite like the pride of creating something with your own hands,
Always the giver, he made these two pens as gifts.
